Wersalka sofa with a birch frame and wooden details
About this work
A classic wersalka sofa in golden-beige upholstery. Vertical stripes alternate with a delicate floral motif, and the upholstery fabric has a subtle, silky sheen. Upholstered armrests, two cushions and exposed wooden details complete its appearance. The frame is made from birch wood. The upholstered construction combines foam, springs and coconut fibre. The front decorative wooden pieces were individually trimmed and fitted to this version of the sofa. The photograph shows how they meet the upholstered sides and the lower part of the wersalka. This workshop photograph shows the shape of the furniture, the arrangement of the pattern across the seat and backrest, and the fit of the upholstery around the armrests. It is an example of a classic wersalka combining patterned fabric with wooden trim. Would you like to discuss a similar piece of furniture?
