What to prepare for your enquiry

Take photographs of the whole piece from the front and side, plus close-ups of worn areas, seams and any sagging. For a sofa bed, also show it unfolded. Photographs help separate worn upholstery from possible filling or frame problems. Include approximate width, depth and height and the model, if known. Tell us whether you want to keep the current shape and firmness or change them. Mention armrests, loose cushions, buttons or decorative seams that need attention. Fabric choice involves texture, everyday use and care as well as colour. Tell us about children or pets. We check the specifications and care guidance for the particular fabric. Photographs do not replace an inspection. The filling, springs and frame may need checking before the final scope is agreed. Cost and timing depend on the individual piece. Include your location so collection or transport arrangements can be discussed before work begins. You can send a link or number from our archive and explain which detail you like.
